What is the SBA?
It is an European trade association for companies of sterile barrier systems (SBS) and related equipment and services. This non-profit organisation aims to improve and maintain the quality of products and standards in the manufacture and supply of single-use sterile barrier systems. Members can discuss industry-relevant topics at regular meetings. Twice a year, SBA members meet to discuss important industry issues. These include, among other things, the status of new standards and practices. Individual topics are addressed throughout the year in committees.
PAConsult is a member of the SBA since 2026. As a recognised and accredited partner for packaging testing and validation in accordance with DIN EN ISO 11607, we work daily to ensure the integrity of sterile barrier systems (SBS). Through our SBA membership, we are now collaborating more closely than ever with the leading experts in the European healthcare industry.
