PAConsult has tested the AQUASONIC³.

The AQUASONIC³ is the third high-altitude research rocket to be developed by students at the University of Applied Sciences in Bremen as part of the STERN (STudentische Experimental RaketeN) programme, which is run by the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

This programme aims to promote young talent in the field of rocket propulsion and launch systems, offering students a real project environment in which they carry out all phases as they would in an actual development programme.

The approximately 3 m tall AQUASONIC³ rocket has a launch mass of around 28 kg. PAConsult tested the recovery system for the project, which is necessary for the rocket's safe recovery after flight. To ensure the system functions safely, shaker tests were carried out to simulate flight conditions.
